LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) central leader and Member of National Assembly Hamza Shehbaz on Wednesday said that politics of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was based on just opposition and protest.
He said that there was no justification of protest after a letter written for judicial commission in the matter of Panama leaks. He said, “Now instead of protest, we should have to think about development of the country.” Hamza said that despite all challenges, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was steering the country towards prosperity and progress.
He said that those who wasted 126 days of the nation should not destroy more time. Talking to journalists, he said that the PTI protest was against the progress and prosperity of the country. He said the nation knew that the wheel of industries was moving and work was being carried out day and night for overcoming energy crisis and completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
He said that in these circumstances, work would have to be done with devotion for the development of the country. He said that terrorism was being eliminated and people were taking a sigh of relief. He said that unfortunately the PTI had nothing except protest politics. He said that after government’s letter to the chief justice for inquiry commission, there was no room for any protest.
Replying to a question, Hamza said that those who got waived off their loans had joined the PTI and they would have to be held accountable regarding their visits through planes.
